Leave with pay has been granted to State employees (FTEs and those in Research Grant/Time Limited who accrue leave) for their absences on state ordered closings and delays on October 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12, 2015 due to hazardous weather conditions. Affected University campuses and employees include:
Oct. 2 Close early, 12: noon Charleston
Open All other campuses
Oct. 5 Closed Charleston, Columbia, Salkehatchie, Sumter
Open All other campuses
Oct. 6 Closed Columbia, Sumter
Open All other campuses
Oct. 7 Closed Sumter
Open All other campuses
Oct. 8 Closed Columbia
Delayed Sumter
Open All other campuses
Oct. 9 Closed Columbia
Open All other campuses
Oct. 12 Delayed Lancaster
Open All other campuses
Please enter "HAZW-PAID Paid Weather Time" for the applicable hours. Employees designated as essential employees who were required to work during this time will earn compensatory time on an hour for hour basis for the hours worked.
Employees who found it necessary to incur absences beyond the time frames approved by the Governor as leave with pay, will need to take annual leave, compensatory time, or leave without pay.
